The Plough is a local village pub set in the heart of Bignall End. It is ran by Pete and Carla and is part of Hydes Brewery. Winners of Hydes Tenanted pub of the year 2016 and current holders of a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence!
The owners, staff and customers all love dogs at The Plough and the pub is well know to be dog friendly. Dogs are welcome in all areas of the pub and are as much a part of the pub as humans are. The pub has its own two dogs Mischief and Maddie who regularly entertain the guests and have plenty of friends in the local dog walking area. There are numerous water bowls and fusses waiting for dogs at The Plough when they arrive. They can even dine with their owners; dogs especially like Sundays.

22 October 2016 at 7:51amI don’t have a dog, but still love this pub and make a fuss of mischief., maddie and all the local dogs, a very friendly pub, with a brilliant atmosphere, it is what a local pub should be, bring your dog in and you will receive a friendly welcome. Very happy to vote for this pub.

4 September 2016 at 4:06pmCalled and was expecting to have to sit outside with our dog but there was a warm welcome as we were invited in and big a fuss made of Tilly, can’t recommend highly enough as somewhere to pop in and enjoy a pint after a walk.
