Originally an 18th century coaching inn located in the centre of Caton is a village pub with great food that welcomes all well behaved customers including adults, children and dogs.

Arriving at the Station
You can expect to be greeted with local hospitality and the warmth of an open fire. Here you can enjoy some of the best food and drink the region has to offer in one of our uniquely charming, individually furnished dining areas. The bar alcoves and fireside areas allow for relaxed, informal dining experiences.
Although tucked away in the peaceful Lancashire village of Caton, we are only a few miles from many local places of interest. Close by are the towns of Kirkby Lonsdale, Kendal and Lancaster. The nearest train station, at Lancaster, is a short drive away and we are easily reached from the M6 motorway. The historic city of Lancaster and its university are very close by and easily reached by car or local bus.

1 September 2018 at 7:45amLovely dog friendly pub- it doesn’t just restrict you to the bar area! Dogs are brought a bowl of water when you arrive and biscuits are on the bar so you can help yourself. This pub also collects for local animal shelter!
