Friendly village local welcoming dogs and their owners from near and far. Dog treats and water available. Lots of great walks along the canal and around the local reservoirs.
Near the canal with lots of great walks to take your dog. Park up take a walk and finish it off with a lovely pint of Cask Ale and a meal whilst your dog gets a treat and water. Lovely village pub off the beaten track but yet so close to the M61 and M65. Worth exploring the area. Lovely log fire in winter. Can only be described as a vibrant village pub. Not a managed pub and is a passion of the friendly couple who run it.
Great village pub with a friendly outlook. Excellent beer and food. Dogs well catered for as well with food/treats and water readily available and a ready smile from the staff to great and talk to them. Sunday night is a great night out if your a dog….you can bring your owner too…
A great village pub serving fantastic value food with an excellent selection of cask ales. Dan & Tracy always make a fuss of any dogs with treats – you can tell they are welcome, not just accepted because it’s “good for trade”!
It’s a great place to wind down with your pooch after a walk along the canal – thoroughly recommended.
Dan and Tracey are very welcoming and friendly Landlord and Landlady, since taking over this pub they have transformed it to a cosy friendly local. Dogs are made so welcome, the food is excellent as is the cask Ale and on a cold night the fire is always roaring away.
