We are a friendly local village pub with roaring fires in the winter months and a large beer garden during the summer. We are dog and family friendly and have a large range of cask ales, keg beers, soft drinks for drivers and at least twenty gins to choose from. For our doggy friends we have a doggy barrel outside, biscuits and dog bowls inside. Dogs are welcome in all areas of the pub including the beer garden. 30 September 2018 at 3:13pmWe go in the cricketers usually weekly as we have just got a puppy and were checking out all the dog friendly places in the area. We have found the pub to be really friendly and welcoming with a large enclosed garden at the rear.

13 September 2018 at 4:51pmThe Cricketers has been my local for 21 years — and in that time it has always welcomed my dogs — some two years ago new landlords Mark and Karen took over “the Cricks” they welcomed our doggie partners with open arms and introduced many new dog buddy features — A welcome biscuit -(and regular scatters of said treats ) fresh water always available inside and The Doggies own barrel of their favourite “tipple” outside in the bench and seating areas .
