Masses of people come to this pub because of its dog friendliness. Bowls of water are available, dog treats are stocked behind the bar, the pub garden is next to a river which is perfect for cooling the dogs off, there are great walks all around and all sorts of dogs, big, small, noisy or timid are welcome, both inside the bar and in the garden. It’s a great place for meeting up with friends, whether dog owners or not. The only (very reasonable) rule is that you need to keep your dog on a lead while on the premises. Our dog loves it there and is always relaxed and happy
Lovely Pub, always has bowls of water and dog biscuits available. Lots of local ‘regular’ dogs who go there, the staff are always wonderfully helpful and attentive towards the dogs.
