31 October 2016 at 11:13pmAll well behaved dogs made welcome. This includes working dogs that can be wet and smelly. Water and occasional biscuit on hand. Often there are more dogs than humans in the bar. Outside beer garden where well controlled dogs are welcome. (Any dogs that get out of line are asked to leave rather than spoil it for the others).

7 October 2016 at 1:58pmTo the star!!
Helpful ReviewThis is my new local. I weekly walk the dog around the plantation and finish off at the star inn. Holly has come to love the phrase “to the star” as she knows she will get a good walk and a warm welcome from the star. They have a fresh water bowl out, roaring fire for the muddy princess in winter and dog treats! Or in holly’s case Ice cubes!
Lovely pub and staff and if you are in the area you must pop in!
