The Fisherman’s Arms is a dog friendly pub that goes beyond just allowing dogs in the pub…they are treated like customers. Not only is it imperitive that our staff are dog lovers, they must also ensure that pooches that come through the door have access to free treats! As well as this we have a dog menu, with items sorced from local business’. Be it a doggie roast and Snuffle beer or a delicious dog Ice cream sourced from the Cowlick Creamery, there are plenty of options to keep our doggie customers happy. We also have our cute resident Schnauzer Mr Jones who has an ale made in his name that is sold exclusively at the pub and supplied by Summerskills Brewery. Not only does Mr Jones have his own ale he is a celebrity, featuring in a book called ‘Great British Pub Dogs’. Recently, we have formed a partership with Woodside Animal sanctuary and have just finished our first charity dog walk…with many more to come!
