Always has doggie treats, which the bar tenders come round with. Tenders come around with water for dogs. They even have a menu for the dogs. Always a very friendly atmosphere for the dogs and people. Plus good beer
Very dog friendly pub. Sells dog treats and the bar staff ask if your dog would like a treat.
Great selection of real ales, beer, gins, vodkas and wine. Just what a proper pub should be.
My last dog (Blodwen) absolutely loved the Albion – she would probably have stayed there if I had let her. New dog (Pippa) is a rescue dog and is settling in – beginning to realise that humans are friendly – especially when they’re having a drink! What a fantastic pub!
Jasmine, the lurcher with the most beautiful eyes. That,s official, I have the medal!

Each time my humans take me to Wales I drag then into my favourite pub, The Albion Ale House. I go straight for my Dogbrew barrel in the patio area as I’m quite thirsty after my trip from Stoke. While they are getting (what they say) is some fantastic stuff in a glass, I get petted by the staff and get to know the other like-minded dogs in the bar. As I’m a beautiful lurcher the big dogs really love me, even though I only have 3 legs. As I’m lounging around outside, one of the bar staff will bring me my nibbles, so there’s no sweat there! I haven’t ordered off the menu yet but it looks right up my street. I love fish and often let my inner cat do the talking so I think I,ll be doing that soon. Thanks to you all for looking after me and making my humans so happy as well.
My dogs know exactly where to head for when we arrive in Conwy. A welcoming atmosphere for all ; relaxing environment, Stewart heads a great team & well stocked bar , Tony supplies the special canine touch . A jewel of a pub in a historic town .
Probably the best pub in Wales . A good selection of nibbles ; a warming welcome, comfortable surrounding , attentive bar staff know exactily with we want and of course our faverite Uncle Tony. Stewart keeps a well stocked bar . Oh ! and our human companions can not complain , their needs are more than catered for .
Quite possibly the friendliest pub in Britain and thats to people never mind dogs of all shapes and sizes who are welcomed with strokes and kind words dog biscuits appear from all directions and a selection of doggy nibbles available to buy.well done to Stuart,Tony and all the staff for the wonderful atmosphere.oh and I nearly forgot what a great selection of proper beers, ciders and lagers.
This has to be the best pub ever for dogs: a warm welcome, water, biscuits, even doggie dinners. Always full of happy dogs and owners (also does local and other fabulous beers.) If my dog could vote it would definitely be for the Albion!
Stuart and Tony run the best ale house and dog friendly pub in Wales. Rio the border collie enjoys being the star of the pub, he’s well looked after with treats, water and most imported the wonderful welcome he gets from both staff and its other dog friendly customers. Philip and Amber x
This is my favourite pub in Conwy – lovely pub for a decent pint and very dog friendly – my dog loves coming here, so does my husband and so do I… the fab 30’s decor is pretty good too!
This is quite the best pub in the world. My dog Eric the whippet is a regular , and makes a bee line for this wonderful place whenever we are in Conwy, where he is greatly indulged by a notorious team of dog – spoilers, and their leader, – no names , Tony.
They even let me in from time to time , where I enjoy the great beers , the superb service , and the great company.
Stanley (our dog) can’t walk past the Albion Ale house without trying to get in the door as he knows he will get treats, lots of fuss and even a bowl of food sometimes. It is a good job they do excellent beer and fine wines too.
We regularly visit the Albion in Conwy with our 2 year old Cockapoo Teddy. He is always given a warm welcome and dog treats. Always a very relaxed atmosphere.
Absolutely first class beer and cider for us, and a welcome that couldn’t be beaten for our dogs. A warm friendly inviting stop for all in comfortable friendly surroundings.
Our dog Connie loves the Albion. Can’t walk past this pub as she pulls to go in. Staff always make fuss of her, and give her doggy treats. The beer is pretty good too.
Dogs are certainly most welcome here and dont be surprised if your 4 legged friends gets a warm reception before you do!
All areas accessible and the management keep a stash of treats behind the bar so they can come and have cuddles with your fur babies. With a pint of water from one of the many vessels you will find to cater for doggies.
If you’re looking for a pub where your pooch gets treated as well as you do then The Albion is the one!!!!
The manager and staff have been fantastic with our new arrival Daisy May who is a 20wk old Cockapoo. She is welcome in the courtyard and all bar areas and is given free dog biscuits and loads of attention and strokes and pats from all staff! Water is also available to the furry friends and the beer is first class keeping the owners happy too.
