Jackie & Nigel welcome dogs as much as people in the pub. Locals and visitors (eg tourists) all bring their dogs in - particularly useful if you have been out walking. Doggie treats sometimes available. A cosy wooden floor for our four legged friends make it a clean and welcoming environment for dogs. There is always a water bowl on hand.
This is a lovely local pub but also very welcoming to new visitors. There is a separate restaurant and snug for non-dog people and another bar where you can bring your dogs. It has an open fire with tables and chesterfield sofas and chairs to relax in. Water bowls are always available. The pub garden is beautiful with flowers growing everywhere. The food is good pub food and reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly.
Situated in Downe Village home of Charkes Darwin the Queens Head is a Walkers and Dog walkers delight many footpaths to do and this pub is our favourite to stop off when finished walking. All dogs welcome but not in the restaurant
Lovely village pub with welcoming and friendly staff. Great places to take the dogs for long walks and perfect pit stop for a bite to eat. Dogs love it!
