Really friendly Landlord and Landlady. Lovely atmosphere. Genuinely dog friendly even with stress-head terriers who have a “handbags at dawn” moment with a dachsund from another family! Delicious food and if you’re a human with a food allergy problem then you can have confidence you will have a well- considered, delicious meal. Can’t recommend it highly enough and I was just a visitor, not a regular customer.
Friendly staff, great food, good beers, good atmosphere, dogs always welcome and well catered for with treats and water on tap, if you don’t like dogs or kids you are invited to sit in the bar/lounge area.
Love this pub, the owner and staff are very welcoming helpful and friendly. I love walking around Ogden water with my dog then we call into the Causeway for some lovely home cooked food. I recommend this pub and cast my vote for this pub to win the DogBuddy Pub Awards 2017!
It is a very very friendly pub for dogs and owners and the food is first class, The landlord is a dog lover and makes you feel very welcome, even when your dog is soaking wet! There are always treats on the bar for the dogs, and even a ‘dog menu’!
