We are a traditional country pub that retains the warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere that is expected in this type of pub. Dogs are welcomed and are always offered biscuits and water, so much so that if a dog escapes its garden it will often end up down the pub. That’s either due to the biscuits or the excellent training skills of the dog owners in the village! We offer a selection of real ales and provide locally sourced homemade food that is sensibly priced. For the warmer months we have a 2 acre riverside garden with huge patio at the rear which is perfect for families and their dogs. Nestling in the garden is our purpose built 4* accommodation.
