10 September 2016 at 9:59amMy beagle is a hyperactive, uncontrollable, noisy little stomach with legs, but the good folks at the Bailey Head weren’t phased by this at all! She was watered, fed treats and the landlady even used her best distraction tactics to assist when we were attempting to eat our food in the beagles presence. You can’t get much more dog friendly than that.

9 September 2016 at 2:27pmThe perfect place for a pint with your pooch. Dogs are always made more than welcome here with loads of fuss and treats. Add to that a big warm welcome, great beer and wonderful local food, what else do you need? Perfect!

9 September 2016 at 10:52amThe Bailey Head should be a destination for anyone who enjoys good beer, tasty locally-produced food and a wonderful convivial atmosphere. The fact that Grace and Duncan welcome dogs is icing on the beautifully-presented cake.
A large bowl of water on the floor just by the door is one sign that this is a dog-friendly pub. The sight of the landlady with a lapful of visiting dachshunds is another. When we arrive, our dog Penny heads straight for the bar with a look of expectation, waiting for her chewstick to be handed over along with our pints. She certainly believes this is how all pubs should be. So who are we to disagree!

9 September 2016 at 8:37amBest pub in Oswestry!!! The perfect place to take man’s best friend and sample one of the many beers, vegan beers, wines and gins on offer. Your doggy will be spoiled rotten too. Always water and treats on offer and lots of stroking and petting. The food is absolutely fantastic. There’s a shelf of games to play and you will always get a wonderfully warm welcome from Grace and Duncan. Why not take your dog today? 🙂
