15 September 2018 at 8:52pmWhen I think of dog friendly pubs I often think of a pub that is slightly run down with average food for some reason however this far exceeded my expectations. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, the dogs spoilt with treats and the decor was modern whilst still maintaining a great level of quirkiness (we were placed in the naughty corner – loved reading all quotes on the wall especially “let the night be gin”, which brings me into the drink and food – great selection of my favourite tipple (gin), the menu was extensive, all 4 of us choose something different and the food was exceptional and reasonably priced. If I lived local I’d be in here every week with my furbaby!

29 August 2018 at 5:08pmWe visit the Coach and Horses all year round and always bring our Labrador Bella as it is a lovely pub and exceptionally dog friendly. Dogs are made very welcome by all the staff and there is always bowls of water available. Bella loves to curl up in the bar after a long walk on the beautiful canal walk which is close by and she can stay at our table as we eat our meal. The food is always exceptionally good (not your average pub food). Highly recommend.
