Directors David Hage and Mark Osborne have breathed new life into The Radcliffe, following a major refurbishment in July 2019 now creating an independent destination Gastro Pub. David & Mark won the coveted industry title The BII License of The Year Award 2019. The Radcliffe is the second addition to the multi award winning The Railway, which was crowned best pub in the East Midlands 2018. Among 9 other industry awards.
The Radcliffe is first and foremost a village pub with the bar at the heart of it all. With wooden floors, sea grass carpets interesting quality features, comfy seating and a feeling of light and space. There is an open pass for all to see the skill that goes into preparing each dish.
The Radcliffe boasts two beautiful sun trap garden terraces, fire pit, outside bar and huge garden with a children’s play frame.
With 4 real ales, some from Nottingham, a unique wine list from a family owned independent supplier. All wines are available by the glass and every one of our wines is bottled at source.

The atmosphere will draw you in to the relaxed charm we have created for our guests. The front of house team, lead by General Manager Susannah are professional, friendly and care the upmost about your experience.
In the kitchen, Mark’s team, lead by Luke are dedicated to creating fresh, creative dishes to a very high standard using the finest seasonal ingredients from the best suppliers. The main al a carte menu runs alongside a set lunch and dinner menu. Specials are always popular adding something different each time you come. Sundays are the best time for any Gastro Pub and we pride ourselves on a great Sunday roast. The Railway at Lowdham won Best Sunday Lunch Venue in 2019, so you are in safe hands.
