Jaffa (Border Collie) says thank you for making my visit yesterday so enjoyable. Everyone was so nice to me and I had lots of cuddles. Best water on tap and a great garden to play on .I loved having my photo taken too. my mum n dad enjoyed the visit and they say we will be back again very soon.
Greg (The Landlord) has even installed a Dog Bar outside with fresh drinking water and always a clean bar.
The garden is a great size for Canine capers as well.
There are not many places where I can comfortably go to a pub with my dog & enjoy a pint! The staff always make a fuss of Humbug – fresh water & treats are always available. On the one occasion I forgot my ‘special’ bags it was ‘no problem, we always have a supply here’. The garden is always clean & tidy with a nice bunch of “Poochie People” who never leave their pets ‘presents’ behind! This is a great pub with a great choice of real ciders/ales & definitely are dog friendly!
Love this pub so much! Espdcially for the factbi can bring my pooch with me! The staff are always so welcoming to my dog, bringing him water and treats and the pub quiz master even walking him round the pub as he reads out the questions!
We love coming here with our dogs. Great pub, friendly staff and lots of great craft beers, the food if pretty good as well. The dogs love it inside and out. There’s a water keg for filling up the water bowls and they provide doggy bags of your dog gets caught short. Highly recommended for anyone, especially if you have dogs.
Simply the best dog friendly pub I’ve been to. They always make Belle, my French Bulldog, very welcome. Our favourite member of staff is Caroline who always makes a fuss of Belle and pulls the best pint!
My dogs love the beer garden and warm welcomes. Endless offers of water on hot days and great conversations with the dog crazy locals. So many beautiful rescue dogs to meet and here their stories! Whilst we enjoy a really good selection of ales
We love visiting The Lion with our dog and he’s always welcomed by staff and customers. The food is delicious, staff are very friendly and they always have new beers and ciders to try. We regularly take family and friends when they come to visit. Lovely beer garden and atmosphere.
