The Stratford Haven is a charming, traditional pub situated in the leafy Nottingham suburb of West Bridgford. Just a short stroll from Trent Bridge Cricket Ground (home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, Nottts Outlaws, and host to the England team) and the City Ground (home of Nottingham Forest), ‘the Strat’ is ideally located for sports fans.

Well reputed for the quality and variety of its cask ale offering – with fourteen hand pulls featuring beers from Castle Rock, well-known favourites, and micro-breweries – the Strat also boasts the largest selection of craft beer in West Bridgford, with ten world beer lines and 20+ bottles and cans.

Food at the Stratford Haven is homemade and hearty, with a menu of pub classics such as Pie of the Day and Gammon, egg and chips. But there are a few surprises, too, like the peppercorn tofu sirloin served on Wednesday’s Steak and Blues night. Other weekly events include a quiz on Sundays for intellectual customers, Pie Night on Tuesdays and Burger Night on Thursdays.

The Strat has been a Castle Rock pub since the late nineties, prior to which the site housed a pet shop. Renovated in a classic style, the Strat comprises of linked areas surrounding a large wooden bar, with a mix of high, low and soft seating to suit your preference. Daily papers are available to peruse while you enjoy a morning coffee or a drink, and a courtyard beer garden can be found at the back of the pub, complete with new wooden seating and sheltered area.

Dogs are more than welcome at the Stratford Haven, provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult! Children are also welcome during the day.
