The Running Pump offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with antique furnishings, original wood & tiled floors, wood burners to cosy up to in the winter months and a beer garden offering heart lifting views across the Lancashire hills. Our country kitchen serves home cooked food using fresh ingredients and the bar keeps a selection of 3 real ales on cask, a guest craft keg line and a seasonal drinks menu. The best thing about The Running Pump is that you can enjoy all of our wares in the company of your pooches. Because why would you want to leave your best friends at home when you have all this to enjoy? We have a snug area away from the babble of the bar and water bowls are available at all times. Our dining room is our dog free zone, where people can eat and drink if they are not comfortable with dogs.
