Since taking over the pub in July 2013 we have encouraged dogs and their owners by offering dog treats and providing an area within the pub and the garden for dogs. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, except on Sundays when we serve traditional roast lunch. Open 8.30 to 3pm M-F, 9.30 – 3pm Saturdays and 12 – 4pm on Sundays. Evenings 6pm – 11pm Monday to Thursdays and Saturdays, 5pm – 11pm on Fridays and are closed on Sunday evenings except for the first Sunday of each month which is quiz night We feel that dogs, just like their owners, are welcome in the pub as long as they remain polite and well behaved! Please pop in to see us or call 01622 831956 to reserve your table. We look forward to welcoming you.

6 November 2019 at 7:49amOur “P” is always made welcome, she recognises the staff who always give her treats (they have to be broken up into pieces too) noting is too much trouble from all the staff. “P” has her own stool at the bar too!
A fab place where dogs are made so welcome .

31 August 2018 at 11:40amIt is part of our dogs weekly routine to visit her friends at the West End. She sometimes has her stool at the bar and each visit has yummy treats, being a princess they have to break them up for her too! Definitely the best Dog Friendly pub I know of!
