Real traditional pub that welcomes people of all ages and diversities but also dog friendly. Too many pubs have gone and few left offer a homely welcome. My local pub has seen many changes over the years and landlords but one thing remains a constant and that is it welcomes dogs. Also Poppy the pub dog is just a big character of the Three Mariners.

By far, in my and my husband’s opinion, the friendliest pub you could want to visit – with or without or you pet. Mine hosts Steve and Dave are warm and welcoming as are the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Their bar service is good old fashioned fun and laughter, their food service, generous and filling Good old fashioned home cooked food – served on a proper plate! If you bring your pooch with you the pub dog – Poppy- is the warmest and friendliest dog you could ever meet to both patrons and their dogs!! So laid back she’s horizontal – literally! .. Most times you have to step over her because she expects a tummy rub as you walk in! She loves to play with other dogs too – teasing them with her toys and running around playing chase! If you know her background as a rescue you will understand what brilliant owners and publicans Steve and Dave are to run such a brilliant and enjoyable pub and have a brilliant and friendly pub dog. Altogether I and my husband can’t recommend or speak highly enough of The Three Mariners. Long may they serve – and Poppy rule!

Good food with friendly atmosphere. Nice to be able to take your dog or dogs with you. Very few pubs in Kent where you are able to to do this.

The three mariners has a lovely large garden for both humans and canines and a very friendly and tolerant Staffordshire bull terrier called poppy. The staff are not bad either!

Poppy is as much as the pub as is the landlords. Lovely little lady with a slight attention problem. ” if she ain’t getting the attention then she will throw the ball herself “.
    Great pub and great people.

    Well what can I say
If you want a great night out with a warm welcome and a hint of a homely feel then go to the Three Mariners on lower rainham road rainham Kent .
My partner and I have been a few times now and can always guarantee the warmest of welcomes from landlords Steven and David and the sweetest landlady ever poppy the dog ?
    The food is fantastic
The bar staff are always polite friendly and always up for a laugh
I have had both my sons 18 ths birthday get togethers there and the landlords went above and beyond to cater for our requirements.
