The Bricklayers Arms is a delightful lakeside public house, comprising three terraced cottages in a charming Kent village. The pub is situated at the end of the picturesque Darent Valley Walk opposite Chipstead Sailing Lake with a green opposite so perfect for dog walkers. We are a dog friendly pub and welcome dogs into our bar and side bar area with water bowls and dog treats available.

27 September 2017 at 6:46amSo lucky to have this as my local pub! Andy runs this place so well, always a pleasure to see him, the staff and his growing family!
Helpful ReviewThe beer is great, excellent wine selection, food is spot on, the view across to the lake is to die for!
Dog friendly, absolutely. The place really lends itself to walkers and their dogs with treats on hand and water bowls too.

1 November 2016 at 5:08pmA very welcoming and excellently run pub for all the family, friends and especially dogs.
Dog treats and water are always available, even a rubber chicken for the dog to play with too.
Never an issue bringing a four legged part of the family into the ‘Bricks’ pub, which makes the smooth pints go down even easier and always an enjoyable time.
My dog Ben now leads the way!

28 October 2016 at 6:36pmOur dog Bella has loved the Bricklayers since she was 8 weeks old. As a regular, she enjoys treats from the bar, water from the outside bowls, seeing her friends and sleeping outside by the benches while we enjoy some food and drinks. Very dog friendly pub.

17 October 2016 at 8:43pmThe pub landlord, Andy, is very hospitable. He goes out of his way to help and makes any event to run smoothly – i.e. Part of the Guides Dogs 85 years walk started from his pub by making everybody bacon rolls, tea/coffee to help us on our way. It has a lovely view overlooking Chipstead Lakes. The pub has a great atmosphere and very friendly staff and above all very clean washrooms.

15 October 2016 at 12:48pmThe Bricklayers have welcomed us and our Battersea rescue puppy from the start. The staff and all the regulars make a huge fuss of her and my Sox cannot wait to visit. Highly recommend a doggie walk around the lake and then lunch.
