Wonderful pub for dogs and owners. The landlord and landlady are dog lovers and have dogs there, the chef has a resident dog there. Dogs ate spoiled, treated, lots of water bowls provided. If your having a sunday lunch, of which they serve excellent and large versions, your dog will get its own portion of roast to eat too!
Dogs and owners are fully welcome inside and out, dogs not just sitting quietly but playing with each other nicely too is allowed.
Excellent food and real ales, great stocked bar. Wonderful music/band nights, jazz afternoons, summer music festival – Queenstock. All sorts of events throughout the year from Halloween parties to celebrating royal weddings with canapes provided!
Close to beautiful walks and next to a beautiful over 900 yr old village church.
All in all the best pub in Sandridge, especially if your a dog owner.

I forgot to add that my dogs have had birthday parties here. My little girl even got a lively card from the owners dogs for her 1st birthday. On Sundays I have a roast (the vege nut roast is great btw) and my fur babies get their own portions of roast meat.
My dogs are my world and here they are always welcomed whole heartedly.
