31 October 2019 at 11:08amAccepts dogs into lounge bar where delicious freshly prepared food can be ordered along with very nice coffee (if you are driving under Scots law). The Inn also has pooch friendly rooms if you wish to make a night of it with walks along the river or nearby Dumfries House Gardens.

22 October 2017 at 10:48amWhat a great place to have as your local. Photoshoot for local newspaper, Saturday 21st of October for “the dogbuddy” competition and we were awash with dogs belonging to pub visitors from miles around! What a community spirit ! This is THE PUB to go to for friendly banter and a huge welcome, whether you’re a dog owner or not!
