The Travellers Rest Crook is an old style wet lead pub with a modern flair and a garden. We are a fun and games pub with Sky & BT sports, a popular pool table, domino boards, chess, backgammon and connect 4, (Can you beat the Landlord Graham?) and a large selection of board & table games for all ages. We welcome families including dogs with well behaved owners. Maggy the Landlady runs mindfulness, meditation groups along with psychic and family events. Since taking over in 2018 we have worked with several community groups from a youngsters film making group, to community singing, community art & well-being groups & new in 2019 our allotment built and run by several local community groups coming together in our garden. (Don’t worry there’s still room for the dogs). We have a good choice of beers and lagers and have extended our usual drink range to included a range of non & low alcohol drinks, hot drinks, children’s drinks & Bottom sniffer beer & Pawsecco especially for our furry friends.
