7 October 2017 at 8:55pmGreat local, great beers, friendly landlady (always remembers my name), landlady owns 2 well-behaved labradors, wood at the back for walks, and dogs welcome of course. The dogs always seem better behaved here- is it the influence of the landlady’s dogs?

Serves decent pub food which is better than your average pub food at very reasonable prices. Very friendly atmosphere and you are always made welcome and of course you can bring your dog along to enjoy your visit as well.

15 September 2017 at 2:56pmAt The Forester’s Arms, 2 golden Labradors virtually own the place and are more than happy to see you especially if you’re carrying a few gravy bones! Many other canines are regular visitors.
