Nestled in the hills and forest of Entwistle, this is a great place for walkers and dog walkers. We are situated in between the reservoirs of Entwistle and Wayoh, which makes this the ideal place for walkers with their dogs. We have a fine collection of real ales and lagers, as well as serving fantastic hot food. Dogs are welcome inside the pub and even have their own dog menu. We have 3 beer gardens were you can sit outside on a sunny day and water your dogs with our very own hand pulled water on tap. We have a great menu serving all kinds of dishes and sandwiches, and of course our famous Sunday lunch. Our friendly staff will always welcome you with a smile and make sure you enjoy your visit with us.

Excellent location with ideal dog walks in every direction. There is plenty of outdoor space for sunnier days but lots of little nook and crannies inside where you can also take the canine. I love this pub and feel extremely lucky that it’s just a lovely walk away (taxi home though).

30 September 2019 at 10:30amJason and the staff openly welcome our furry friends, our two dogs are treated excellently with Hair of The Dog on tap water (through a barrel) just as a pint would be poured. Excellent food on offer and the deals on Wednesdays and Fridays are well worth the trip. Use your tastecard and every day becomes a good excuse to pop to the pub. Fantastic walks in the area, all traffic free.
