Friendly pub that likes dogs and Poppy the Landlady very friendly

Most friendly pub around and all dogs are made welcome. There is also a park right next to it so you can walk your dogs first before enjoying a great pint (and a bowl of water for the dogs). All round fab pub!

Great locals pub, where bankers, barristers, gardeners and dog-walkers all mingle just as 'people', regardless of status. Offers treats for furry friends. Staff all love them, so your dog is well and truly spoilt. Can't walk past the pub now without a tug on the lead from them wanting to go in!

Not only is this pub very dog friendly, with many doggie regulars and a welcome for any dogs passing through, one of the human regulars is a retired vet and Sam the terrier loves to sit on his lap and gets a quick health check-up.

Irene loves the dogs, spoiling them with titbits from leftover roast meat. The dogs can roam free and mingle with dog friendly customers. Most accommodating doggy pub I've ever been to.. beers not bad either..??
