All the staff come up and make a fuss of our dog. They offer him water and dog biscuits. Refilling his water regularly and giving him more biscuits. It's fantastic to be able to go out for a walk and a meal and feel so comfortable having our dog by our side and enjoying it with us.
By far, in my and my husband's opinion, the friendliest pub you could want to visit - with or without or you pet. Mine hosts Steve and Dave are warm and welcoming as are the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Their bar service is good old fashioned fun and laughter, their food service, generous and filling Good old fashioned home cooked food - served on a proper plate! If you bring your pooch with you the pub dog - Poppy- is the warmest and friendliest dog you could ever meet to both patrons and their dogs!! So laid back she's horizontal - literally! .. Most times you have to step over her because she expects a tummy rub as you walk in! She loves to play with other dogs too - teasing them with her toys and running around playing chase! If you know her background as a rescue you will understand what brilliant owners and publicans Steve and Dave are to run such a brilliant and enjoyable pub and have a brilliant and friendly pub dog. Altogether I and my husband can't recommend or speak highly enough of The Three Mariners. Long may they serve - and Poppy rule!
They are very cool in having dogs here, even inside the pub. Many pubs accept dogs, but only outside. The pub is located in Wavertree, a very residential area in Liverpool. In the winter, it's amazing to stop there alone with your dog and drink a beer, talking to some unknown but friendly people.
A home from home. This local friendly pub is run by the most child friendly and dog friendly couple you will ever meet. Dogs are always welcomed, not only by the Landlady, Landlord and staff but also by the locals. We all love our dogs.

Very friendly. Dog treats on the bar and fresh water.
