Great dog friendly pub. Food fab for us and great doggy menu too. Always water out for our fur babies and free dog biscuits on the bar. Fab in summer watching the world go by outside and cosy next to the fire on a winters dayWe are lucky to be a stones throw from this little gem.
Amazing food for humans & a special Doggy Menu for 4-legged friends ????.
Lovely pub, very friendly, good atmosphere, delicious food (the best burger & onion rings I’ve ever had, & very generous/delicious Beef & crispy noodles) and free dog treats on arrival. Made to feel very welcome with our two Beagles. Highly recommend & will definitely visit again when in the area. Thank you x
Great friendly pub! Everything you need for your pooch;
water bowls, biscuits, dog menu (the human one is great too!) Even doggy towels…. much appreciated after a long autumnal river walk. The pub is an
asset to the town!
Super friendly doggy service. Water bowl was brought without having to ask for it. Doggy menu very reasonably priced and our dog loved the taste of it.
Alba loved his Rudolph’s Ruin. Not just dog friendly, totally dog welcoming. Can’t rate the hospitality highly enough. Just a pity it’s so far away from our home town of Glasgow.
Amazingly friendly – so reassuring when you’ve a (cockapoo) puppy! Great dog menu and the humans’ menu is great too – fantastic burgers! We will return!
Despite being in the town, the Royal Oak welcomes owners and dogs alike throughout the year, at the bar, as well as in the courtyard. The canine menu includes fresh water bowls, dog biscuits and, a dog specific take away menu. Canine
guests are greeted by Rudolph the four legged host.
The food is outstanding, the welcome is warm the staff are great and dogs are always welcome, with dog beer bottled and snacks available for our tour legged friends.
Always great to pop in and see Ally & Rudolph at the Oak. There’s free treats and lots of water bowls for the dogs, always great food and clever ale’s to choose from and the inclusive atmosphere of a “Proper Pub” with a lovely fire.
