The Inn on the Coast Hotel is situated on the Causeway Coastal Route between the beautiful harbour towns of Portrush and Portstewart, in County Antrim. The Inn has been Pet Friendly since opening its doors in 2012 and the demand for Pet Friendly rooms has over-exceeded any of our expectations.
The team here at the Inn are all barking mad and are usually better at remembering Doggy names than their owner. And what makes the pooches experience exceptional is how much all our staff fuss over them and make them feel welcome. This in turn has produced so many regular guests, of varying shapes and sizes; we accept them all from Tea-cup Yorkies to Great Danes.
The Inn has 10 designated Pet Friendly rooms (they are normally the first to go, so book early to avoid disappointment). We have a designated section in our Pub Bistro where you and your pooch can enjoy dinner together, a few drinks or some live entertainment in the summer evenings. There are also special dining arrangements if you wish to bring your dog to breakfast in the morning. Doggies can also have their own sausage at breakfast if they are allowed. In addition, we have alfresco seating arrangements in our Beer Garden, perfect for spending those warm summer days with your best Bud, after a long walk around the Coastline. There is a coastal walking path right on our doorstep, follow it for ten minutes and you will find Portrush’s West Strand beach.
All dogs which visit the Inn receive complimentary treats & water, and those who book in to stay with us receive a pooch pack filled with goodies.
Why not check us out on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & TripAdvisor to hear about and see some our Pet Friendly guests enjoying their stay. If you would like more information on our Pet friendly facilities please call our Reception team on 028 708 23509, we are here to help.

3 September 2018 at 9:26amFantastic did friendly Hotel where it really goes all out to make dog owners welcome. Not only that it is situated in a fantastic area on the North Coast betwoon Portrush and Porstewart.. Lots to see and do. I live in Edinburgh and make regular visits when I can. So glad Zi found this place and really could not recommend it more highly. Brilliant staff and the owner is also a dog lover with her own pets. This means she really understands what dog owners are looking for.

8 October 2017 at 2:44pmOur third Stay at The Inn On The Coast Portrush with Sally our 15 year old dog and the staff are always so friendly. Iced water, biscuits, a goodie bag and a ball were great but the staff coming over for a chat and to give Sally a cuddle was even better. So genuine and as dog owners themselves they are really good with the dogs, There were 5 dogs in the restaurant and nothing was a problem, but she especially enjoyed her sausages for breakfast.
