We call here often with our 2 chocolate labs, staff are sooo welcoming,,, lovely cocktails ????,,, great food( scotch egg starter) amazing ???? , dog treats an water for the pups, wot else could you want????
The dogs were greeted as if they were people and made to feel very welcome. The true meaning of a dog friendly establishment as many try to ignore you and hide you in a corner. Not here where the dogs are given a mat to lie on, water and doggie treats. The human food was also great so if you are passing with your four legged friend don’t miss popping in for a bite or just a coffee and a bun.
This is an absolutely fantastic spot to bring your pooch with you when going for bite to eat of nice quiet drink. You and especially your dog are made to feel very welcome from when you walk through the door.
Recommend this place to all.
Love the atmosphere in the dog, And the fact Teddy can accompany us is just the best….. he’s part of our family and to be made a fuss of with his own drink and biscuits On arrival is just the best. X
This is quickly becoming our ultimate weekend lunch haunt…. a beautiful walk by the sea in crawfordsburn park followed by a lunch at the salty dog …all with our cocker spaniel at our feet. He gets spoiled rotten….we get spoiled rotten…what more could you ask for?
It’s lovely to be made welcome on arrival with the family pet. A dog mat, water bowl and treats are offered. There are homages to dogs in the decor, but not cheesy. There is even a tasting menu for your pooch. All creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
IT is great to be able to pop in to the salty dog when you are out for a stroll with your family including you dog. After all, why should they have to stay home alone when we go out for a cuppa or a meal. Staff so friendly and aim to make our pets at home.
