Always a warm friendly welcome for dogs and people highly recommend

Kate and David love dogs, their own and all their customers. We are welcomed with fresh water, treats and strokes. There is a garden area for dogs and fenced in patio.

Your dog is always welcome in this pub! Nothing is too much trouble.

The Sun Inn is superb.
Not only the best on the Island for humans in every department with excellent service and food to match, they are the only best dog friendly establishment on the Island.
They have dogs themselves, all breeds are welcome and water, treats and cuddles are always available.
Even better , if you should forget to feed your dog as we did one day they even feed him or her for
you with pleasure and no extra cost.
Nothing is to much trouble and also any emergency is dealt with calmly.
When we had to go to hospital the other week urgent Kate and David even looked after our Scottie at their living quarters until we could collect him again.
We recommend this pub to all four legged friends and their owners.
You won't be disappointed.

Having come from the West Midlands, where few pubs welcome dogs, it is great to see how welcoming the Sun Inn is for 4-legged companions. There is fresh water available both inside and out in the garden. Dog treats are available, with owners permission, and food can be cooked for them too
