Fantastic Black Country Ales Pub with the BEST Beer in Walsall. Great warming open fires in the winter and super dog friendly. Look forward to being welcomed by Mark & Lucy Rushton the welcoming landlady and Dora the well known pub dog who is happy to share her doggy treats with visiting canines... Well there is a tin for Doggy treats :-) so she gets her fair share lol...
Doggy bowls of fresh water available in the courtyard to the rear and also space to put your pushbike if you travel that way.
The pub has a fantastic old school traditional interior and is not spoilt by TV's, Gaming Machines and loud music. A real traditional British pub with a super dog friendly attitude.
I used to work at the duke and all the dogs knew we had treats behind the bar a few of the lovely dogs have gone to doggie heaven but I'll never forget them ????????????
This pub is my local. However. Ive taken my dog all over the country and Ive never found a pub this welcoming anywhere else.
The staff are fabulous, love all dogs and go out of their way to make you and your pooch more than welcome.
Great atmosphere, great company and a fabulous range of well kept ales.
Very highly reccomended.

Lovely warm "home from home" for us and our dog who has been coming since 8 weeks old.
Biscuits, water and a lovely welcome for all, two-legged or four.
Amazing food and great choice of drinks - run by a couple who really know their stuff.
The lovely warm welcome and happy to let dogs at tables when dining.
