The Working Boat is warm and welcoming. It has friendly young staff who have dogs of their own, and who make a fuss of their canine visitors. There is ready supply of dog biscuits on the bar. There’s a tidal beach below the pub to explore, and a quay for your dog to swim off when it’s high tide. There’s a fab open space in Greenbank Garden alongside for owners to sit and watch the harbour, have a pint, and let their dogs make friends. There’s a deck along side to watch the river activity too. We love it there.
This is a great pub for locals and visitors alike. Friendly staff, good food, a secret garden area out back, and best of all welcome pooches. They always ask if I'd like any water for my dogs, and everyone loves to pet them. It's a very chilled atmosphere, and best of all is they have a couple of tv's for sports, as well as board games to play. All in all a great place...
Dogs and their owners are always welcomed in the bar area of the pub. Dogs are always offered fresh water and there are a range of doggie snacks on sale behind the bar.
Dogs have always been welcome here. There are water bowls both inside and out and treats behind the bar. There is also a garden with shady trees on hot days, poo bags and a bin for disposal are also provided. It’s a great pub with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and lots of dogs. Also they brew their own beer.
They have squishy couches and nice rugs for them to lay on. They have dog biscuits and bowls of water. Not to mention it’s an awesome pub that used to be a post office; the interiors are really cool and worth checking out!
