Great little micro pub, the most dog friendly pub in the area, in fact I think Jo (the landlady) would rather have dogs in than customers they get looked after so well, always a free treat for them and 0% alcohol doggy beer available to purchase. And if you're a Gin, cider or ale lover it's the only place to be!

We love going to the Dandy Cock with our dog Milo. Milo makes a be- line for Jo who makes him very welcome as do all the staff and other visitors. 1 quick drink usually goes on to a few more. We love it there. x????

Been going in this pub for years as we always like doing in there after walking the dog. My husband likes the beer and my dog likes the pork scratchings. Hope it always stays a dog friendly pub!
