This is a truly doggy friendly place! They love dogs here. I once walked into Commonhall Social whilst I was on the phone on a meeting. I was with my Labradoodle, Ernie. I couldn't order for a while as I was still on my meeting, but the waitress didn't hesitate to "serve" Ernie, bringing him a selection of treats and making a BIG fuss of him.
Dogs eat free on Sundays too with their own Doggy Sunday Lunch!
It's a wonderful place for 2 legged animals too - great food at reasonable prices, real ales and craft beers, fine wines and genuinely friendly, happy staff. My favourite bit of Commonhall St Social is the cosy "inside outside" area, shabby African chic style, complete with heaters, blankets and a table tennis table.

Great day out.
Start off with a dogie walk along the canal side.
Then back to the pub for some beer and pub grub!
