This pub is the definition of “a cut above the rest.” The owners, staff and all regulars are as friendly as can be and always put themselves out to make newcomers feel comfortable. They even joke with a sign:
“dogs welcome.. people tolerated.”
Ahhh this is a lovely friendly place…everyone is like family…live music…and a lovely little pit stop while walking my pooch…worth a visit…lovely garden and very clean…
The best bar ever!!
Great atmosphere.
Great staff always so happy and warm. Us customers aren’t to bad either .
Rolo our sausage ? loves it, as the staff give him lots of treats and plenty of water when he needs it.. lovely beer garden . Rolo has made lots of furry friends
My dog Jack a little Westie is a regular at the Black Bull along with all his other doggie friends and its a great place to visit.. everyone is so welcoming.
Dogs are given more special treatment than the customers! It has been known for there to b more dogs in than people at times ha, if u visited this pub it would win hands down! ???
It’s lovely to be able to take your dog to the bull. There’s not many pubs you can actually take your dog. There’s always a drink and a pat for them. Well done black bull.
Dog friendly and treats for your four legged friends and water bowls available. Enclosed and safe dog friendly beer garden with views out over the Tyne
This pub has a wall dedicated to regulars dogs that frequent the bar. The dogs pictures stay up even after they’ve passed on. They also have 8 different size water bowls for different size dogs. ???
