In fact the staff very often wait by the front door of the pub and welcome your dogs before you. They then bring water without being asked and ask if the dogs are eating with you. Also they will offer treats, if wanted. This pub never ceases to amaze. 10/10

Not only does it serve fine Real ales, but you can also order Thai food to be eaten downstairs in this lovely dog friendly pub. Friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. What more could you ask for.

3 September 2018 at 10:17pmThe Salutation is a great traditional pub, with friendly staff, a very good Thai restaurant upstairs (the food can also be ordered downstairs, so you can eat while you have your dogs with you too) and a great outdoor seating area. We have been coming here with our dogs for over two years. They’re always welcoming and our dogs get lots of attention. I would definitely recommend it.

27 August 2018 at 2:54pmThe Salutation Pub, is one of the best pubs in Doncaster, and with then addition of being dog friendly makes it even more worth my while to go in and have a drink. Dogs are mans best friend, and if you add a couple pints it’s really such an amazing combination.
