Jocko and his team make outstanding pub food, and portions are so large this would be your only meal of the day – and it’s decently priced, too. Dog-friendly throughout inside, also an outside seating area (partially covered) with outstanding views of Nidderdale. Food served 12noon – 9pm every day. Everyone who works there is dog-mad and bowls of water offered generously. It’s been refurbished (sadly due to flooding winter 2015-16) with flagstone floors, although the open fire runs every day the temperature dips, so dogs won’t be chilly.
