Named Scotland’s Pub of the Year at the 2016 Pub & Bar Awards, the German-style beer hall WEST On The Green serves beers brewed on the premises and is both child and dog friendly. With a large space both inside and out (the beer garden is one of the finest in Glasgow), the pub also holds a number of weddings and private events in its two events rooms.
On offer for the dogs that are welcomed in at all hours of the day are bowls of water and doggy treats. The pub also has an Instagram page @westonthegreen, where photos of its four legged visitors are posted on a regular basis (#DogsofWEST).
