With a large bar area and many outside areas, there are countless reasons to bring your best friend to The Farmhouse at Mackworth. Each friendly pooch is greeted by our dog loving staff with a water bowl and biscuit in hand. Outside in the summer we have a water station named ‘Boondoggy’ for owners to help themselves to top ups. We have many regulars, but also offer dog friendly boutique hotel rooms also. Most importantly of all, the Farmhouse is run (so he thinks) by George the Blue Roan Cocker, who lives and works alongside the General Manager onsite. George will often take rounds of his Kingdom and meet the decendents.

27 September 2018 at 2:12pmWe have been here with the dogs during the day and the welcome they get is brilliant! The customers are always kept happy but the dogs get an extra special fuss!! We even had our wedding here and the dogs were welcome to stay as long as we wanted and were treated as guests – it was no issue at all! Having a venue that allowed dogs on our wedding day was just magical and made our day extra special!! Wether you have two legs or four, everyone is welcome here!
