19 October 2017 at 8:16amBeautiful old pub in delightful location. So dog friendly that we visited it every day of our holiday with our elderly Labrador. The staff were genuine dog lovers. Every dog was given its own bowl of fresh water, dog treats from a pot on the bar and plenty of cuddles! There was also a very friendly resident pub dog. The pub was very clean and comfortable but we did not feel we had to worry about muddy paws or dog hair. Our lab became quite excited about going to the Treguth every day and made lots of friends. We must say it is a wonderful pub with excellent food (the Sunday lunch is superb) and we shall be returning to Holywell Bay next year, The Treguth playing a large part in our decision. In all our years of owning dogs we have never come across such a lovely, dog friendly pub.

19 September 2017 at 10:59amNearly everyone has a dog and they are regulars. Biscuits are provided on the bar for all dogs including those on holiday. Dogs look forward to going to the pub just like their owners. Our dogs went missing a couple of times, they had gone to the pub and when they go in, our drinks are pulled and ready when we arrive, they never paid for them though!

Brilliant place for locals, visitors and holiday makers staying in the nearby camping site close to the beautiful Holywell Bay. Highly recommended!
