The Springer Spaniel is an 18th century rustic pub that is set in the pretty hamlet of Treburley. Having once been called The Sportsmans Arms many years ago the owners at that time changed the pub to The Springer Spaniel, as the pub was renowned for the bar to lay host to dozens of Springer Spaniels and hunting dogs. Today although you may not find dozens of Springers sprawled along the bar you will however find an array of breeds of all shapes and sizes. Customers, local and from far gather at this venue with their four legged friend because of its reputation of being an overly dog friendly pub…so much so that we even host our own dog show yearly. The Springer just loves all things dogs!!
