2 November 2019 at 6:53pmWe’ve been coming to the pub for years, not as often as we would like, but the dogs – 2 Border Collies – get a warm welcome and treats. At Steam Party Weekend the place is always buzzing with lots of doggies with plenty of space for all and nice walks alongside the River Weaver and the Trent&Mersey Canal nearby. What’s not to like, a stroll then a good pint and a bite to eat. Thanks Jo and the team, always nice to call in.

18 October 2019 at 12:32pmA fantastically friendly pub with excellent food and great service. Dogs more that welcome and they even have their own bar snack biscuits. A lovely stop along the river which is great for walking. Accessible and convenient location. The pub also organises a number of charity events throughout the year.
